Candle Care:

1. The "Memory" Burn

• On the first light, allow the candle to burn until the wax melts across the entire surface to the edges of the vessel.

• This prevents "tunneling," where the candle burns down the center and wastes wax.

2. Trim Before Every Relight

• Once the candle is cool, pinch off the charred wood from the top of the wick using your fingers or a wick trimmer.

• Old, burnt wood will not relight; you need fresh wood exposed to catch the flame.

3. Clear the Debris

• Always remove any wick trimmings or match heads from the wax pool before lighting.

4. The 4-Hour Limit

• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Extended burn times can cause the wick to become unstable or the glass to overheat.

5. Avoid the draft or moving the candle while it’s lit

• Keep the candle away from open windows, ceiling fans, or high-traffic areas.

• Drafts cause the flame to flicker, creating soot and an uneven burn.

6. The Safe Finish

• Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

• Burning the candle all the way to the glass floor can cause the container to crack or shatter.
