Based in Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath, Flaming Figures was born from a need to return to making after a period of creative exhaustion. During that time, working with simple materials and slow processes became a way to reconnect — with hands, with space, and with self.

Each candle is designed first as a decorative object, shaped to exist beautifully within an interior, even when unlit. Alongside these sculptural pieces, Flaming Figures offers aromatherapy candles finished with wooden wicks, chosen for their gentle crackle and warm, natural flame.

Scent is subtle and intentional, inspired by grounding moments rather than intensity. Unscented pieces allow form and texture to speak on their own; aromatherapy candles add a soft atmospheric layer to a space.

All pieces are made in small batches with care, favouring simplicity, balance, and natural materials.

Flaming Figures is for those drawn to quiet luxury — homes that feel calm, personal, and thoughtfully composed.

To us, a candle is a daily ritual. A small source of grounding in a busy world. Whether you're lighting one during your morning coffee, as part of a meditation, or simply to wind down at the end of the day, our hope is that each flame becomes a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and be present.
